Saadat Abad Commercial Residential Project has one commercial unit, five residential units, one parking lot and one storage floor located south on 31st Saadat Abad Boulevard. at the request of the client The facade designed by the project architecture team was unique and iconic at protecting the privacy of the units and the visual effect and of course aimed attraction of reputable and international magazines and competitions. The project’s facade had two shells, exterior and interior shells.⠀
Small holes had been designed between bricks to provide the required light for the units. traditional and conventional methods did not suite for execution and famous contractors after several meetings with client had been announced the impossibility of execution. So Designing and detailing of precise, calculated details in a way that satisfy architect demands started After presenting several different executive details, finally the conceptualer group modeled the proposed details in finite element Engineering Software, not only satisfied the architecture requests, but also ensured strength of the façade and got final approval. Designing and executing the largest extrusion of this facade, 2.8m long and 4m high and 12cm thickness without any diagonal restraint, was major challenge of the project, using the latest engineering techniques solved by Cconceptualer group without using traditional methods. The project was designed and implemented for the first time in the country without use of the usual Methods by the Cconceptualer group.⠀
Another part of the facade and landscaping that draws attention is the brickwork of the walls of the building area, each wall divided into two parts, each of them divided into two parts with geometrical differences in Harmony with facade and a place for plants between wall layers considered. Brickwork of the courtyard wall has modular different depths and approaching end of wall through the lobby depths lowered until it fades The ceramic part of the building facade with architect order also has specific design and details; because of unusual angles of ceramic ceiling and wall performing in typical ways was impossible.
The facade of the building is 30 to 60 cm away from the windows. Due to the overall design of the windows, the facade has two internal and external facades that make the construction difficult. According to the Architect’s project the conceptualer group was done as much as possible use effort to best hide the structural components of the facade from the inside and the exterior, so that the design details of the implementation were kept as strong as possible while retaining attention. For the purpose of strengthening the facade of the facade to the building skeleton, it was carried out by experienced welders with complete supervision of the type of welding.
