Saadat Abad commercial office project with two face ( North and south) and having area of 1400 square meter is located on saadat abad boulevard. It consist of one commercial unit, five office units on five floors, one parking floor and one warehouse floor. according to the architect design, the building has two different facades which have designed with 40cm modulation along the vertical direction; they also had material of the Thermo Wood in common.⠀⠀
The common goal of Architectecture group and Conceptualer group was constructing an iconic building from the point of view of experts in building industry and ordinary people, in order for evolution in volume and visual effect of a specific project which differ from duplicate buildings in town and creating a valuable building in design and performance quality and also taking part into domestic and international valid journal awards.⠀⠀
Based on the Primary objectives, the different parts of the project had to be executed in accordance with the design plans of the architect, so that the final result approved by the architect and the client. The conceptual team’s effort determined selecting the executable route based on precise engineering details along with the architect’s plan and considering the time and financial circumstances of the client which resulted in a step by step implementation in accordance with primary 3ds and architecture group editions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the south, vertical louvers with repetetive modulation of 40cm covers all over the façade. Building façade has different look to each person who is looking at the façade from different angels and it shows different views from each angels to the audience. Conceptualer group for accurate execution of façades that matches to the plans and 3D designs, organized an engineering team included agents of architectural, construction and elite contractors in line to choose appropriate constructions details. this team with up to 50 hours of technical meetings and installation of three samples with different proposed details, finally proper detail got attention of architect, contractor and construction group and construction trend started.
Due to the design width of the facade Louvres and the standard width of the existing thermal woods we had to build and design a cross section suited the desired width, which was for the first time in the world acknowledged by German wood experts. It was a huge risk and required high sensitivity. Other important points for construction was Aligning of all the Louvers in the facade and the balcony and control the distortion of the woods during the performance due to environmental factors. Designing head-to-head Louvre fittings and flushings and handrail-specific design according to the architect’s idea were other challenges for the project.
